Educational Choice
I support the rights of families to have the funds to dedicate resources to their children. I believe it is essential to make sure everyone is given the best education to meet their needs and that of the community. To promote a work force that can support and grow the towns of Rockingham District 4.
Economy/Taxes
I believe is important for the members of the community to maintain control of those funds raised in the towns. I encourage our citizens to remain active at the town level so the budgets meet our actual needs and don't get wasted on special interests.
I would fight for a reduction in ability of the State to dip into everyone's pockets for issues that do not serve the community as they deserve.
Gambling
While I support access to gambling as entertainment and would encourage establishment of casinos in New Hampshire in those communities where they are welcomed, I feel we must be careful in tying our state budget to the profoundly unreliable .
The Drug Problem
It is important that we educate our children on the real risks of drug use. We also should not perpetuate the errors of prohibition that continue to fail us. I support treatment over incarceration for those of us who have found themselves trapped by bad choices.
